The British Virgin Islands are set to captivate food lovers and nightlife enthusiasts with the much-anticipated return of Jost Lime & Dine, an exclusive dining experience that invites visitors to indulge in the island’s delectable cuisine and entertainment under the stars. Running from February 14 to March 16, 2025, this culinary event is a premier opportunity to discover Jost Van Dyke after dark. The term “limin'” embodies the Caribbean art of relaxing and enjoying good company, food, and drinks. Jost Lime & Dine encapsulates this spirit, offering an immersive experience of the local culture and gastronomy.
Jost Lime & Dine serves as the grand opening of the BVI Food Fete culinary event series, bringing a sophisticated touch to Jost Van Dyke’s famed beachside dining. Traditionally, only overnight guests could experience the island’s vibrant nightlife, but a newly arranged 10:45 PM ferry service from New Horizon Ferry now allows visitors to dine, drink, and dance before returning to Tortola the same evening.
The event launches on Valentine’s Day with a romantic theme, Love in Every Bite. Guests arriving via the 6:00 PM ferry from West End Ferry Dock will receive complimentary roses courtesy of Bobby’s Marketplace and enjoy a red-carpet photo opportunity. Couples and groups can also participate in a photo contest to win a romantic dinner or exclusive prizes.
On March 1st, the celebration continues with Lime in White Night, where attendees are encouraged to dress in elegant white attire for a stylish evening of fine dining and live music.
A special $20 round-trip ferry fare is available exclusively for guests who make reservations at participating restaurants through British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission. Visitors can choose between the 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM New Horizon Ferry to Jost Van Dyke, where they will be greeted at the dock with a welcome beverage before heading to their selected restaurant.
